VOLUNTEERS ARE THE KEY TO OUR SUCCESS!
The time and effort volunteers spend at our Charity shops or helping out at our events, enables Happy Paws to keep working for our stray animals. You can enhance skills you already have or develop new ones.
Even if you have only one morning or afternoon to spare, we would be delighted to welcome you. You’ll build strong relationships with the community and other like-minded volunteers. Helping Happy Paws is knowing that you are a part of a team providing care to many animals in need. You will soon come to realize just how valuable you are to the animals and to the Happy Paws team
Volunteers are also the heart of our charity. Happy Paws is supported by over 70 highly appreciated volunteers who are working with us in various capacities. Although many of us are Maltese, we have also welcomed international volunteers from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Britain, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, India, Ireland, Japan, Germany, Latvia, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, Norway, Poland, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, Ukrain,the United States, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
SHOP VOLUNTEERING:
This is what we do:
- Sorting, all incoming donations have to be checked for quality and cleanliness.
- Communicating with our many (regular) customers.
- Keeping the shop shipshape, clean and attractive to visitors.
- Having Fun and Various coffee breaks!
