Our *Star Fund*

starFor treating Stray animals where nobody is able to pay for it.

The "STAR" fund was created after the ordeal of the dog Star in 2011. Many will remember Star, who was shot 40 times and then burried, still alive. Star initiately survived and a trust was set up to cover the costs of recovery.

Unfortunately the dog soon died and the funds were distributed under animal NGO's. We used this money to set up our own Star fund within Happy Paws, to cover unforseen costs of treating Stray animals where nobody else is able to pay for it. The operation and treatment of the Shar Pei earlier this year and more recently the leg ampution of a wounded kitten and the operation and treatment of the abused dog "Horace", were paid for by this fund.

Needless to say we welcome your donations into this Star fund.
